报告人简介：
Camino Rodríguez Vela is professor of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence in the Department of Computing of the University of Oviedo. She has started her academic career at the University of Oviedo in 1986. Since then, she has held different positions, taught different subjects, and supervised more than 50 degree or master’s thesis and 5 doctoral theses. She is the leader of the Intelligent Scheduling and Optimization (iScOp) research team and her main research focuses on scheduling problems, using metaheuristics as solvers. She has worked on scheduling problems with different characteristics such as setup times, flexibility or uncertainty. She has participated, mainly as responsible, in various projects supported by the government of Spain and she has published more than 100 book chapters and papers in journals and conferences. Between 2016 and 2020 she was the Director of the Department of Computing of the University of Oviedo. She is currently editor of the Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence and of the Artificial Intelligence journals. She is also a member of the Spanish Association for Artificial Intelligence and of the Spanish Society for Computer Science.

报告内容简介：
Camino will do a presentation of the iScOp team of the University of Oviedo, in which she will review the main lines of research carried out over the last years. The work of this team is focused on a variety of complex scheduling and other combinatorial optimization problems with uncertainty and energy considerations. Among others, electric vehicles charging, rostering, vehicle routing or cutting stock. The team develops approaches for these problems based on hybrid metaheuristics. Currently, the members of the team collaborate with a number of researchers from different institutions in Europe.
